ACTIVE RAIN Launches Outside Blogs
Active Rain or AR is now giving agents a FREE customizable Ouside Blog or as they like to refer to it as "AROB". Any post a Rainer sets up in AR can be submitted to their AROB by simply checking a box within the AR platform. Currently, you can choose from 2 basic themes though more will be available in the future. They just rolled this out on June 25th so they are definitely dealing with the initial buzz of this, so once they get that under control, all the bugs Rainers discover about the AROB will be addressed.
Trulia Adds Google Street View
Announcing the addition of Google Street View to Trulia's website. Now in case you have no idea what Google Street View is, let me tell you! Google street view is the latest technology from Google Maps which actually let's you walk down the street! Now, since it is so new, they haven't covered everywhere yet Luckily for us, with our close proximity to NYC,Westchester seems to be on the map - the street view map!
So far in our area, NYC is complete, Bronx, Mt Vernon, Pelham, Yonkers and Scarsdale are still in the process of being completed right up to E Post Rd in White Plains. Soon all of Westchester will have been infiltrated by this genius interactive map technology.
So, Trulia has jumped on this right out of the gate. This is a fantastic real estate tool as we can now answer the question "What's the neighborhood like?" by pointing them in the direction of this virtual tour of the area. This is an amazing tool for relos and will cut down on the time you have to spend escorting those clients around - saving you precious gas money and time! Imagine what kind of doors this opens for the real estate world and it's at your disposal!
